Josef M. Rodarti offers a wide range of innovative risk management solutions for office, retail and residential projects, including high-rise, mixed-use, and urban infill projects. Mr. Rodarti began his focus on construction related issues in the 1980’s after being engaged by a major financial institution to assist in completing and liquidating REO assets that were mired in construction issues. Mr. Rodarti has mediated, arbitrated and litigated construction delay, disruption and change order claims as well as construction defect cases and has formulated programs to mitigate the risk associated with protracted legal proceedings. He is currently involved with many high-profile projects throughout California and the Western United States.

Mr. Rodarti has studied construction risk management for over thirty years and has been a member of industry trade organizations such as the American Academy of Cost Engineering International; American Society of Civil Engineers; Project Management Institute; the Forum on Construction Law of the American Bar Association; Construction Industry Institute (CII); Construction Industry Research and Information Association; Construction Management Association of America; the Dispute Review Board Foundation; and Western Council of Construction Consumers. Mr. Rodarti has also addressed critical issues in construction risk management through speaking engagements, including value engineering, and claims management and advancement.

Mr. Rodarti advises clients throughout the United States focusing on avoiding and mitigating costly disputes during and after the construction effort. Mr. Rodarti is a graduate of Loyola Law School with honors. He speaks nationally on construction risk issues, serves on several ABA Construction Forum committees, and has been published in several trade journals.
